Southwark extension
Creating a core London hotel
Redeveloping and repositioning assets in core locations.
In May 2014, a £4.5m seven-storey extension was completed, adding 48 bedrooms and new food and beverage facilities. Careful planning minimised disruption to ongoing operations, supported by detailed insight into occupancy, room rates and operational performance.
Sustainability was central to the project, achieving BREEAM accreditation through measures including solar panels, greywater systems, heat recovery units, accessible rooms and an energy-efficient building management system.
This phased, highly accretive expansion has strengthened market share, increased revenue and enhanced long-term asset value.
